It is the belief or assurance that you can rely on someone or something. In this context confidence is not only relying on your abilities and your fortitude but also relying on those who are working with you to develop synergy which will creates greater results than combining separate efforts by each person on the same task. It is a character trait that is an invaluable tool to accomplish any task. When confidence is at a high level, work is done with assurance that the task at hand will be accomplished in the most effective and efficient way as well as produce the most favorable result.
One of the foundation building blocks of achievement is an attitude with confidence to complete the task. Starting a task believing you will succeed will strengthen your resolve when you are faced with challenges built in the task. Faith empowers your insight to envision what the completed task looks like and enable you to develop steps to deploy your ability energetically to the task.
There are people who can achieve goals when the path is smoothly paved with minimum or easy challenges and often without a written plan. Then there are others who succeed but continue to doubt themselves, a strong support system helps them complete the task. However, no goal or desire can be achieved favorably without some level of confidence. The goal for every person is to be the one who moves confidently from start to finish, regardless of how difficult oppositions or challenges are inherent in the path to completion of the goal. The power of confidence is the key to achieve goals.
Three Opponents of Confidence
Beginning a new and difficult task can produce three opposing forces hindering confidence. The first to be revealed is doubt. Unchecked doubt will introduce worry into the situation and bring with it fear. Combined these will distract and block the highest level of productive actions. Worry creates sub par results through fear of disappointing those depending on you to produce the best results. The intensity of doubt and worry is increased by fear. These three nemeses combined make the challenge and its difficulty seem larger. The perception of failure seems more likely than success, but it is not. Never avoid negativity, go face to face with it, evaluate it, find the solution and overcome it by using it to your advantage.
The Effects of Morale on Confidence
Morale is a key component and very important in maintaining a healthy level of confidence. In a team or group one person’s low morale can derail the level of confidence the group. Low morale decreases motivation to push through a challenge to achieve the task with favorable results. Low morale will introduce procrastination in the workflow and weaken faith which hinders pursuing favorable results. When inherent challenges or resistance or outside oppositions show up, a person of low morale will be more apt to resign from continuing the path to success.
High morale alleviates setbacks that block forward movement to desired results. It is important to keep all members of the team motivate and aligned in pursuit of the designed goal. High morale is a basic building block to achieve your designed results. However, it is important to have the proper attitude when your morale is high. Many times, we focus on goals, achievements, or some other indicator of success. It is necessary to have the proper attitude when
Three Oppositions of Confidence

Worry creates sub par results through fear of disappointing those depending on you to produce the best results. The intensity of doubt and worry is increased by fear. The Power of Confidence
Confidence conquers opponents to help produce your best strategy and best efforts to achieve favorable results. It is the driving force of your fortitude and abilities at the starting point of achieving any task. It is that ingredient in your attitude that assures you that what it takes to accomplish the ensuing task is in you. Whatever challenge or problem that arises you face it with confidence and overcome the opposition to complete the task. You will not allow anything to block your path. You will not be defeated! Faith moves the mountain.
Confidence faces doubt, fear and worry to use each to your advantage. In my opinion these three nemeses are never nonexistent but are managed. When these three are out of control their effects are negative and destructive. Doubt when properly managed will become a tool to your advantage. It creates motivation to push forward against obstacles. Doubt helps to set goals to achieve. Inner strength is stirred and inspired to help face challenges of inadequacies that says, “you cannot do it.” You answer, “Yes I can!” Some say heroes are fearless, but we are born with fear. If people did not fear, certain threats would not be met with necessary response to protect from danger. An example is we do not reach into an open flame because we fear being burned. Fear is our resource to avoid danger. The wise man of the Bible says a wise person properly managing fear perceives danger and avoids it. Properly managing worry develops concern which inspires one to seek a solution to a problem to overcome it. Concern causes people to develop behaviors that are positive, productive, and beneficial to life.
The power of confidence instills an attitude that creates the idea and desire to make things happen as well as the belief it will happen. When you are faced with difficult challenges and strong opposition, confidence elevates your morale and empowers your resilience to work through adverse situations which are inherent in the pursuit to achieve your goal. The decisions you make have unavoidable results which strengthen you when faced with proper confidence. If everything was easy, growth and development will never be part of the pursuit to achieve. Challenges come to strengthen you to handle what comes next.
Faith is the fuel for the power of confidence and is deployed in every effort to ensure forward movement expecting the next step that will move you into the next level. Faith strengthens your confidence. You are confident to be more than a conqueror; you are an overcomer. There is no quitting, defeat is not an option. Faith maintains, strengthens, and empowers confidence. Deploying faith allows you to envision your goal completed and as you confidently pursue the goal. You move by faith with new confidence as if the goal is already completed. Faith strengthens your confidence to assure you success is on your horizon.
